"Hello,
I just wanted to let you know how 'Lisa' was doing after we took her home to Helsinki. We now call her Willow.
She is truly a remarkable dog! She has settled in so well to city life and seems to be very happy. We go for walks or to the dog park twice a day and she loves getting into play fights with other dogs. She is the most friendly and gentle dog and seeks affection from my husband and I pretty much all the time. She comes and wakes us up in the morning (only 10 mins before the alarm) by coming to one side of the bed to see me and then the other to see my husband, she's so thoughtful it's amazing. I have now started to take her into my workplace and she has won the hearts of everyone. Everyone remarks upon her beautiful temperament and how already she follows me around like we've always been family. We are so happy, I cannot thank you enough for looking after her and bringing her into our lives.
We really needed Willow in our lives. Earlier this year my father passed away suddenly and due to the COVID situation I was not able to travel back to the UK to be with my family and we could not hold a funeral. It's been incredibly difficult to grieve for my dear Dad whilst in this lockdown situation and we've really dealt with a lot. We had wanted to get a dog before this happened but I think this added to the idea of comfort, companionship and something to help us keep going. I could not have dreamed for a more wonderful dog who has come into our lives just at the right time.
I have been telling everyone about your centre and already one of my colleagues has adopted a young labrador from you this week! Blessings to you all and thanks again for all you do.
