Walked Jersey today, he is a sweet and adventurous dog.

- He is young and strong, but doesn't pull on the leash and walks very well. Even when he is enthusiastic, he doesn't pull too hard and walks at your pace. He responds very well to being redirected and comes to you when you ask. He is easy-going.

- He sometimes got scared when he tripped on the sand and looks at you like you're going to do something bad and acts submissive. It's possible he was somewhat betrayed by humans at some point in his life. Maybe he needs a bit of reassurance that humans are safe, but he takes very well to reassurance and confidently walks on.

- He was VERY affectionate, licking our hands, putting his paws on us, trying to lick our face and kept coming back for more during the walk. He really wants closeness with humans. Deep down he does trust.

- He was a little bit suspicious of a person on a bike, but wasn't scared of cars or rain. He is a brave boy.

- He loves walking a lot and doesn't pull back to the shelter in fear. He needs an owner that will let him sniff things because he is very curious.

- From his German Shepherd side, I think he would like a job like agility classes or stimulating brain games like finding something.

Again, he is a very affectionate sweetheart with beautiful, warm eyes. He is a really great companion for someone who loves to be outdoors regularly or has a large backyard. He will be your loyal best friend.
