We walked Pujas a week ago. She is a very good dog that walked without problems on the leash and is very responsive to direction changes. I wouldn’t call her an anxious dog, but she is on guard looking out for something to happen because she doesn’t have a home of her own where she feels safe. For example, she is not afraid of a car driving by, but more suspicious and it looks like she is thinking a lot about what it means.

She jumped on us enthusiastically to say hello, so she definitely seeks to connect with people but I think she is on guard by not having her own place in the world. There is an intelligent and affectionate dog inside her, but she needs her own bed and people to bring it out of her. As humans we can also relate to this anxiety when things in life are full of uncertainty, so she needs someone to show her that it is safe to finally relax and she can rely on someone else.
